My name is Victoria Beni, I am 22 years old and I was born and raised in Florence, Italy.
In the past three years studying in the UK, I have worked as a photographer collaborating with actors, makeup artists, models, stylists, designer and singers. I have acquired extensive knowledge in shooting both on location and in studio, learning how to use industry-standard lighting, such as the Profoto kit, and experimenting with Colourama backdrops and the use of gels.
I have also started occasional free-lancing, photographing families and events.
Thanks to my university experience, I have refined my capacity to edit via Adobe Lightroom and to retouch in Photoshop.
In terms of videography, I have produced and edited a number of student-led projects, and recently I was part of the filming crew for the BBC West Midlands Sports Awards.
I am now in the process of creating my first self-produced documentary on the topic of refugees integration in Italy.
Full details of my work experience can be found in my CV.
