Personal statement

Natasha Hamilton is an aspiring TV Assistant Director, she is currently a gregarious and diligent third year Media and Communications student at Birmingham City University. Having interned as a Researcher at Caravan Media, an award-winning independent production company based in London and as a Researcher at Universal Media LTD liaising with clients. Natasha has gained a wide range of work-experience and creative skills that would allow her to thrive as a successful Assistant Director.

Alongside her work-experience and her studies, Natasha has used her own initiative to gain design, digital editing and photography skills that compliment her desire to work at a production company specialising in TV Drama and Factual Entertainment. Natasha has a strong command of Premier Pro, is fully able to operate a TV audio mixing desk and she can professionally operate a digital Cannon C100.

A creative at heart, Natasha thrives in team environments she is able to use her interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with cast and crew on set. Natasha is able to use these skills, her in depth knowledge gained from her Media and Communications degree and her passion to work in this industry to cultivate emotive, gripping and powerful stories that not only entertain the audience but stories that create a lasting bond between the audience, the storylines and the characters.
