My name is Leeonie Mignott, and I am currently in the process of completing my final year at Birmingham City University (BCU). Throughout the three years of my course, I have chosen to specialise within the New Media industry, by doing so I have been able to gain skills, through developing websites, story-based games and have also learnt how to generate new and exiting ideas. Alongside this, I have taken the time to explore and define my skills with Visual Design and Photography.
Throughout this course I have been able to work under management and through the art of freelancing. I have been able to gain work experience on BBC’s Doctors and have been also been able to assist Gok Wan’s One Size Fits All, to which I worked as an events assistant.
I enjoy the thrill of creating a product and being able to see it through. I have created products ranging from, print magazines, a children’s book, an info-graphic website, and portfolio. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at university, and due to my time of studying coming to an end I have to focus on my career. I am currently in the process of creating and developing my own business Petite Apparel to which I will be using all my skills attained to build something of my own.
I am interested with updating people with what I am doing with my life and write down my thoughts and feelings. In this instance I have created a blog that shows people me, and the truest version of myself.
