Media & Communication

Personal statement

I am Bryna Jordan, a third year Media and Communications student at Birmingham City University due to graduate in July 2020. I am a hardworking, motivated and friendly individual from the depths of the South West in Cornwall.

I started university as a Radio specialist, but as I tried different modules and roles within different projects, I found that I was very interested in Social Media management. However, I still thoroughly enjoy radio and I managed to combine both of these passions in two of my most recent projects: a pop up student radio station – Factory Radio and The SOS Project, a PR campaign that I ran for my Major Project in my final year.
I am very willing to try new skills and have tried my hand at many different aspects of the media industry that interest me, from presenting, being a sound assistant and social media managing for live television broadcasts, producing both pre-recorded and live radio content, and most recently producing a PR campaign, podcasts and an event in the name of drug harm reduction and education, which is something very close to my heart.

Check out my previous work below and don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions!
